“Success begins at the end of your comfort zone”
This is probably one of the most well-known quotes on success ever. It is that one common line which we often see being associated with most of the motivational stuff or even brands use it for their publicity. But some lines don’t really create that much of an impact because they are too damn true and people don’t want to change the reality.
What are our comfort zones? It’s basically those strange psychological oddities which stop us from taking risks. A feeling, situation or even a thought which stops you from going for extraordinary things in life. It makes you stick to what’s safe and normal while making all other great things difficult or unnecessary in front of what you already have.
Do you get up early in the morning, pack up for work and go to the office every day? Does that feel like a challenge? It has become a part of your routine. But what about giving presentations at the office, during class or anywhere? You feel those sweats all of a sudden.
There is one major difference between a successful and unsuccessful person which relies on the fact that who really lives on the edge of their comfort zone. People willing to try new things and reach new positions will always excel more than people who would be unwilling to risk their safety.
Real change in your mindset can occur if you decide to challenge yourself on the smallest levels. By that we mean; start with your routine. If your behavior is just right in your routine, getting out of comfort zone won’t ever be a question for you then.
1. Do the same thing but with a different way
Making a routine can be easy because most of the things in your routine are always according to your choice but breaking a routine is one of the toughest things to do for yourself.
You can begin by choosing a different lunch, another place to jog or any idea that you think will give you an opposite spin of the same old in your monotonous routine.
