Lionel Messi’s multi-million dollars personal jet is making waves on social media.
The luxury aircraft has been custom-made by an Argentinian company according to the sources.
The 31-year-old football icon has leased the $15 million plane as opposed outright purchasing it straight away but it looks as though he and his family and friends will be getting their money’s worth.
The jet, which was purchased in the USA but will be registered in Argentina, is a 2004 Gulfstream V and comes with 16 executive seats, two kitchens two bathrooms (one with the shower) and 16 seats that can be converted into eight beds. It means there is ample room for 16 people.
Of course, Messi has already made some personal modifications to his new ‘wings’: the iconic Messi’s jersey number 10 has been painted onto the tail; while the name of each member of his family – Leo, Antonella, Thiago, Ciro and Mateo – has been written on to the steps of the boarding stairs.
This luxury plane is the perfect means of transport for the footballing royalty. And it is used quite often by the family whenever they have to travel. Mostly, Messi uses it to reach to his matches’ venue but it’s also used whenever the family is vacationing.
