“Whoever said money can’t buy happiness simply didn’t know where to go shopping.”
– Bo Derek
Ever wondered what a place would be like in which only super rich people can shop? Well, now such a thing is a reality. It’s an online shopping site “HushHush.com”.This place is like an Amazon for millionaires. The unique website is selling items like private islands, high-end artworks and even things like £2 million jewel-encrusted Rubik’s cubes to the world’s richest shoppers.
HushHush.com, based in London, aims to be a one-stop-shop for high net-worth individuals, offering them anything their hearts desire. It’s a luxury shopping marketplace and concierge service, which features an array of luxury goods, brands, and services. Among the multiple items available on the site are expensive watches, property and rare handbags.
Some ridiculously outrageous items are a private island off the coast of Florida which is listed for a whopping £77 million (roughly about $100 million) and a 165ft yacht, which can be yours for £21.8million (about $29 million).
This one-of-a-kind website is currently looking for a luxury product tester. The gig pays about $97,000 a year. The position will involve sampling and experiencing luxury products and destinations.
The reviewer/tester will review products before they appear for sale on the website. They will be expected to test the products for style, comfort, performance, and suitability for the website. They will also be responsible for producing reports on each item and working with company suppliers. In recent years, there is a growing trend to use such young ‘reviewers’ for obtaining feedback about their services. It’s good for advertising purposes too.
According to the company, the tester must be willing to work with luxury goods, such as an $80 million French chateau, a $71 million jewel-encrusted watch, a $61 million superyacht, and a $23 million jet. They must also have a working knowledge of aircraft, luxury cars, art, fashion, jewelry, and furniture and an interest in travel, art, and fashion. You basically have to live the life of a multi-millionaire and the best part is you are paid for it. Not bad, right?
The online company is searching for candidates that have an eye for detail and can travel to islands and properties that are for sale across the globe. Applications will be accepted until the end of this month. Candidates must be 18 or older to apply.
It’s understandable that candidates having good writing skills, as well as professional and friendly demeanor, are more likely to land this job. Interested candidates can apply on the company’s website by providing their name, email, contact information, and a brief introduction. If selected, they will be contacted for an interview.
In this very unconventional job, the reviewers are given tasks such as to review products like Big Bang Unico Sapphire Rainbow Sapphire Watch valued at €65,990 ($85,000), a Birkin 35 Leather Handbag by Hermès, listed at €28,750 ($38,000), an Admiral Explorer 65 Yacht, which is priced at €47,401,850 ($63millions), or even a 1300 meter-square home in France is available which will ,unsurprisingly, cost you in millions. This job is simply out of this world.
